Juniper 61

Juniper 61 was on our list of restaurants to visit in Tosa. Did enjoy the meal, but we decided we liked La Merenda's small plates better.  The shrimp tacos were probably our favorite.

El Tiempo Cantina

El Tiempo Cantina is one of our favorite places for Mexican when we're visiting family in Houston! With the waiter's help, I was trying to order what Matt had ordered here on a previous visit. This was not it. Tasty, but will have to keep trying to find the other.

Honey-Lime Grilled Chicken

This chicken couldn't be easier. Just mix up the marinade, let the chicken marinate a few hours or overnight and grill. It's extremely moist and flavorful.

4 chicken breasts
1/2 cup lime juice
1/3 cup oil
3 Tbsp honey
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried rosemary
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp black pepper

Combine lime juice, oil, honey, thyme, rosemary, garlic and pepper. Pour it over chickens in a ziplock bag. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours up to overnight.

Grill until done and juices run clear.

Upstream Brewing Company

Another Breckenridge road trip brings us back to Omaha for dinner. This time we choose a restaurant that we knew would be playing the Women's World Cup soccer game. Of course we get there 15 minutes after the games starts, and we miss three goals! Luckily we got to see through to the end of the game.

Dinner was good, but we've had better in Omaha.

To celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary, we treated them to dinner out at Blue River Bistro. Everyone throughly enjoyed their meals.

La Tour Restaurant & Bar

During our stay in Breckenridge, we decided to take a drive over to Vale since we had never been. A very European vibe to the downtown. You can tell it's a ski village, and definitely caters to the upper class.

We wanted to catch lunch and sit outside and we stumbled on La Tour. A great mix of French and Colorado cuisine.

We enjoyed a nice dinner out with just my sister and brother-in-law at Twist. They had been there before and highly recommend. Everything was delicious! We'll be back!

We rented bikes and rode from Vail Pass back down to Frisco just in time for lunch at Peppino's. It's certainly not the fanciest place, however it is some of the BEST pizza we've had. The crust was amazing, and the calzone was equally tasty.
